A first participation in the show
Like every year, the International Agricultural Show was held in Paris at the Portes de Versailles exhibition center. From February 24 to March 3, the event celebrated its 60the edition.
4 universes form the show:
- Products from the regions of France, Overseas and the world,
- Livestock breeding and its sectors,
- Agricultural services and professions,
- Crops and plant sectors, garden and vegetable garden.
For the first time, Roannais Tourisme was present at this major exhibition in the hall on regional products.
A common Loire stand
Roannais Tourisme was present on the shared stand “Loire, department”. Indeed, Destination Saint-Étienne, the Loire Chamber of Agriculture, Loire Tourisme, Forez Est, Pilat Tourisme, the Department, Gîte de France also occupied the 80 m² stand.
Also, the department's producers were able to taste and sell their products in the tasting area of the stand. A real highlight for visitor attendance at the stand.

2 days of presence of the Roannais
Roannais Tourisme came to the capital for this event on Thursday February 29 and Friday March 1.
2 days meeting a new audience to promote the territory, its products and its many riches.
In total, more than 320 people welcomed over these 2 days of presence. An audience coming from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Ile de France and Pays de Loire regions.
Visitors were interested in the following themes:
- Heritage (Villages of Character, etc.),
- Gastronomy (local products, Wine Route, etc.),
- Outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, etc.).
Also, the news Forez-Roannais Wine Route, with the roadbook, was very appreciated. It's a new way to visit the territory that people like.
A positive assessment
A great success for this Loire presence within a show of international scope. First, the highlighting of the products and the tasting invited visitors to come to the stand to then discover the riches of the department and each territory.
A public interested in the region, heritage and products for the discovery of a destination.
The Loire and Roannais therefore offer a beautiful influence.
