How to get the mark?

  1. Deposit application online at GMTH application (for initial requests, renewals and upgrades)
  2. Support by the local relay Tourisme & Handicap, the Loire tourism development agency (Françoise Pontet),
  3. Assessment visit carried out by a pair of evaluators made up of a representative of the tourism sector and a representative of associations of disabled people. At the end of this visit, a report is sent to the service provider in order to improve the criteria not met.
  4. The application is considered in Territorial Commission which must rule on the attribution of the mark and the pictograms granted (auditory, mental, motor and visual). The Tourisme & Handicap brand is awarded on a minimum of 2 pictograms and is valid for 5 years.
  5. Once labeled, you are invited to promote your engagement in favor of tourism accessible to all. You can include the brand's logo with the assigned pictograms on all your communication media. You will also be present on the Tourism & Handicap page intended for individuals.

The promotion and enhancement of activities and places labeled Tourism & Handicap is ensured by the State through various communication actions such as specialized exhibitions. Locally, the Tourism & Handicap regional partners also implement promotional actions.
