Roannais Tourisme ensures throughout the year missions of reception, information, animation, promotion and marketing of the Roannais territory. It guides and informs customers staying in their search for accommodation, restaurants, leisure activities, etc. The tourist office, Roannais Tourisme, provides documentation from partner professionals at reception. It is the privileged gateway for exploring the territory.

Roannais Tourisme is made up of 4 divisions: General Resources, Marketing, Reception and Promotion/Communication and has a team currently made up of 13 people.

We are committed to welcoming, informing and advising tourists as well as more local customers. Our passion: to make discover or rediscover the territory and the professionals who animate it.
Our objective: To promote all the wealth of Roannais!

  • Welcome and inform locals and tourists in the Tourist Information Offices as well as on external events,
  • Support socio-professionals,
  • Organize events (Gourmet walk in Côte Roannaise, exhibitions, etc.),
  • Sell ​​activities, visits, local products… (Tickets and shop),
  • Enter the events of the territory on the APIDAE database,
  • Welcome newcomers to the territory.

6 permanent offices : Roanne, Ambierle, Saint-Haon-le-Châtel, Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire, Saint-Just-en-Chevalet and Saint-Germain-Laval.

3 seasonal information offices : Crozet information point (June to September), Perreux information point (July and August) and Château de la Roche information point (May to September).

1 mobile information desk : since June 2022, he has been crisscrossing the Roannais all year round according to the needs of each territory.

Did you know?

  • Roannais Tourisme has chosen to design “mobile” tourism by offering reception “Outside the Walls” with the mobile information office.
  • During the summer period, the travel advisers go out to meet holidaymakers in the campsites, on the markets and at certain events.

The promotion

Roannais Tourisme sets up various promotional actions (website, tourist publications, newsletters, social networks, fairs, advertising insertions, etc.) which aim to increase the notoriety of the territory.

  • Update the website and social networks daily,
  • Create newsletters for individuals and professionals,
  • Create tourist editions (magazine, tourist map, practical guide, flyers…),
  • Organize video shoots,
  • Organize photo shoots,
  • Participate in fairs,
  • Organize press and influencer receptions.

Commercialization

For the marketing part, Roannais Tourisme develops circuits and stays for group customers. Roannais Tourisme also designs offers for individuals such as 100% Roannais gift boxes or packages on the “nature” theme. The sales department also manages all business tourism (congresses, seminars, etc.).

  • Selling packages to groups (days, stays, seminars),
  • Market the Roannais in the form of gift boxes,
  • Create tourist products for individuals (meetings with winegrowers, stays on the way to Saint-Martin, guided tour program...),
  • Support professionals in setting up online reservations,
  • Manage hotel reservations during congresses as well as accompanying and post-congress programs.
