On the border between the Allier and the Loire, the Monts de la Madeleine festival has taken place in the summer every year since 2003. It offers a program of concerts and classical music shows. Recognized throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, it is a musical highlight of young talents and seasoned musicians united around a common passion: music! The Monts de la Madeleine festival democratizes classical music
The festival has existed since 2003. It was born from a young wind quintet, five musicians still students at the Paris Conservatory. To organize the event, an association was born " the Pentatête association ».
The first ambition of the festival is to use music to bring together a diverse audience in a good mood. This event proposes to highlight young talents in the making and to make them cohabit on stage with seasoned musicians. The result: an elegant and professional mix!
In the process of becoming a benchmark, the festival of the Monts de la Madeleine has made a place for itself among renowned classical music festivals such as the Chaise-Dieu festival in Haute-Loire or the abbeys festival in Mont-de. -Marsan in the Landes.

The festival rhymes simplicity and quality
The event offers a varied and high-quality program for each edition! Each year, around thirty musical moments are planned in town as well as in small villages of the Loire or Allier.
Between true masterpieces and lesser-known works, there is something for all tastes and styles: film music, tango, jazz, baroque, Parisian guinguette ...
All styles are also a variety:

How to participate in the Monts de la Madeleine festival?
Firstrd edition of the festival took place from July 15 to August 13, 2023. A poster and a program in the colors of the event are published each year and allow you to find out about the concerts and shows organized and to be able to book.
The concerts take place mainly in the evening, but sometimes also in the afternoon.
