The next Roanne Blues Festival is back in force as every year since 2018 with a program in two stages: the first in the festival's partner bars / restaurants with free concerts. The Roanne Blues Festival in a nutshell
The festival has existed since 2018. It was born from the desire ofWorld Art Culture and Music Association (ACMM), who, until 2017, was responsible for the programming of the Satellit Café in Villerest.
The particularity of this festival is to initially offer free concerts in partnership with the bars of the Roanne area, then other concerts at the Fontalon room in Roanne over two evenings.
Blues, nothing but Blues... The festival, with a local and regional scope, aims to invite internationally renowned French and foreign artists. Thus, Manu Lanvin, Dom Martin or even Luke Winslow King have already attended the festival. The 2024 edition will welcome Henrik Freischlader, Noreda Graves, No Money Kids, Handsome Jack Salle Fontalon and six other artists in the bars.

The “Bars and Blues” concept
The Roanne Blues Festival is also the project to animate the city to the rhythm of the Blues and to introduce this music to a wide audience. For this, the “Bars and Blues” concept was born in 2019. The idea is to offer free concerts in bars in Roanne. The opportunity for the public to discover or rediscover establishments in the territory that welcome quality artists.

How to participate in Roanne blues festival?
The Bars & Blues concerts take place from March 5 to 9 at Monkey, Chez Nine en Provence, Le Laser & Beers, Le Trio, L'Un Verse and Saint-Philibert in Charlieu. On March 15 and 16, 2024, the festival continues at the Salle Fontalon (25€ per evening, 45€ for the 2-day Pass, reduced rate: 22€ per evening, 40€ for the Pass).
