Cafarnaum Ceramics Workshop

At the beginning of 2017, I took my first steps to learn how to work with clay and, very quickly, the desire to make it my career was born. I learned for several years from different teachers. And via professional internships offered by ceramic schools, I spread my wings in November 2019 by creating Cafarnaüm Ceramics.
Since then, research around my production has been constantly evolving. Stoneware has been my companion since my beginnings, I have remained faithful to it, just like my small electric oven. In 2019, I tried my hand at painted decorations. But very quickly, thanks to the apprenticeship received by Angéline Del Bove and an internship carried out with Xavier Durosselle, enamel work captured my attention.
An immensity of possibilities and technical research opens up to me. I have been experimenting since then, and until now, with refined forms.
My workshop is located above the La Part des Autres restaurant in Saint-Just-La-Pendue, it is a beautiful, bright space of 70 m². However, due to the staircase providing access, it cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility.
My production is evolving. Wishing to approach a more fanciful universe, I imagined creating around a theme: that of florals and gardens. The shapes of my pieces are therefore more figurative, and I bring a careful finish to each piece. The workshop opens its doors to people wishing to learn shaping techniques. The trial class is €45 for 2 hours of practice with firing and glazing of the piece made. I also offer packages: 10 lessons at €400 and 20 lessons at €720.
