In the heart of the Pays d'Urfé, this village of 220 inhabitants located at an altitude of 683m welcomes you 10 km from exit 31 of the A89 motorway.

All year, every day.

Its body of water is an ideal place for a day in the fresh air, with a game of fishing or boules, games for children, a picnic or even a barbecue!
The maquis hut, in the heart of the black woods, calls hikers to the memory of the maquisards who occupied it during the Second World War.

And of course, to discover at the gates of Chausseterre the Col St Thomas and its mythical panel “Here begins Auvergne Here ends France”!
