Louis MERCIER, poet and journalist 1870-1951, Jeanne-Marie CHAVOIN, founder of the Marist sisters 1786-1858 and Claude-Marie DUBUIS, 2nd bishop of Texas 1817-1895, founder in Texas of the congregation of the sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word , buried in the church which contains a remarkable altarpiece and pulpit.
