Services for hikers
On foot, hikers will appreciate the absence of roads, there are only paths! In the mid-mountain zone, the circuits crisscross the massif, sometimes in humid undergrowth covered with soft green moss, sometimes on mountain moors as far as the eye can see. We will find for example: The “Le Gué de la Chaux” route departing from Arcon, The “Mégalithe et Moulin” itinerary departing from Saint-Romain-d’Urfé, A trail circuit, number 25 departing from Oats.
Services for cyclists
We are located in the town of Champoly in the heart of the black woods, a true paradise for mountain biking. The MTB / FCC area of the Bois Noirs massif also includes 2780 kilometers of trails with 125 possible circuits departing from 26 municipalities. This area is part of “Destination Grand Air”, the largest FFC-certified mountain bike area in France. It will delight lovers of speed and technique.
