Promontory dominating the Roanne plain, St-Haon-le-Châtel remains a living museum of the Middle Ages protected by its ramparts and seventeen defensive towers. You will appreciate the architectural quality of the place: medieval and Renaissance houses, half-timbered facades, turrets, mullioned windows… Ten centuries of civilization to relive!
4 - 17:00 p.m. - Guided tour of the Saboterie Drigeard in Renaison - 1:00 a.m.
Daniel Drigeard, one of the last representatives of his profession, will reveal to you the secrets of the artisanal manufacture of clogs of yesterday and today. Through the visit of his workshop, this craftsman will charm you with his know-how and his passion and will give you a demonstration of the manufacture of a shoe from A to Z.
