Located in the heart of St-Haon-le-Châtel, a village labeled "Village de Caractère en Loire", La Bastide de Châtel is a restaurant where we offer classic French cuisine, without fuss on the plate, with exclusively sourcing French and local as much as possible, whether in the kitchen or in the dining room.
After studying at the St-Chamond hotel school, we decided to settle in Paris. Thibaud, in the kitchen, cut his teeth with Hélène Darroze, then took the position of international executive chef at Ladurée.
Bérénice, meanwhile, took over the management of Causses, a quality general food grocery store for several years.
After 8 years in the capital, we decided to bring our common life project to fruition: open a restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and generous cuisine in the heart of the Côte Roannaise.
