Renaison located 10 minutes west of Roanne, owes its name to a river "Le Renaison". Attractive by its geography, Renaison is a dynamic, booming town with an intense and diversified economic and cultural life.

A listed organ, the Chartrain and Rouchain dams, the highest Douglas pines in Europe, one of the last 15 clog makers in France, are among the many attractions of this town of more than 3198 inhabitants.
With a hilly countryside, it is one of the favorite places for walkers with its hiking, sports and leisure activities.
