The Lentignois have always been dynamic. The memories of the carnivals are still vivid for all those who were able to take part in them as spectators or as actors. The proceeds had been used to build the village hall and the basketball hall, which has since become a sports hall.
Many childminders, primary school, associative school restaurant, daycare, inter-municipal leisure center and music school of Roannais Agglomeration, associative media library, health professionals, shops, craft and service companies, sports and associative equipment, various associations, contribute to its attractiveness and to maintain social ties. This is how Lentigny has had nearly 300 additional inhabitants since 2008.
