At the northern entrance to the Loire department and the Rhône-Alpes region, near La Pacaudière, on the Nationale 7, the medieval village of Crozet offers you a journey through the history of the County of Forez.

Formerly, one of the 4 strongholds of Roannais, the town was a place of great trade fairs and a strategic site of the most important, as evidenced by the magnificent panorama over the plain of Roanne which will allow you to admire a breathtaking landscape. , from the Morvan to the Lyonnais mountains.

An obligatory crossing point between the Roannais plain and the Madeleine mountains, the site of Crozet experienced a long period of prosperity in the Middle Ages and during the Renaissance.
