The village of Aris, traces of which can be found since 1432 (Apud Aris), bears the name of the stream which borders this hamlet. It is made up of houses huddled together and built around a circular lane whose access passes under a porch.

All year, every day.

One can imagine that the village was protected by two doors because an XNUMXth century painting found in one of these houses, reveals a second door at the other end.

Along the walk, we discover buildings decorated with Viennese, a house with a gallery, porches characteristic of old farms, bouteroues, a well.

The hamlet of Aris is located about 3 km from the village of Villemontais. For easy access by car, it is recommended to take the CD 8 towards Saint-Germain-Laval. The hamlet is on the right, 1.5km from the roundabout.
