Present before 1600, this restored mill which manufactured flour for centuries, turned to the production of hydroelectricity intended for self-consumption, while preserving the ecological services essential to the life of the river.

Guided tours

From 15/10/2023 to 15/04/2024, every Saturday from 15 p.m. to 17 p.m.
Between mid-November and mid-April, if there is water in the river to turn the mill.

The hydroelectricity production is intended to heat three dwellings which will become carbon neutral with the help of aerothermal energy and solar panels.
Its water reservoir has made it possible to identify 45 species of birds that live on its banks and a colony of bats. It periodically hosts a beaver whose tracks are clearly visible, to the extent that it is the only place that retains a little water when the river completely dries up, allowing the survival of small fish.
The essential role of centuries-old mill reservoirs for the survival of the river ecosystem in periods of global warming and that of aquatic and terrestrial biodiversity is presented.
