Built from 1823 to 1825, according to plans drawn up by the Prost brothers, notables of Lay. The bell tower was added in 1834.
Neoclassical style architecture, inspired by Antiquity or Greco-Roman architecture: columns, decor (Corinthian capitals in the heart), groin vaults.
The furniture of the same style, presents a homogeneity with the architecture (triangular pediments on fluted pilasters of the side altars). This building replaced a first church, the oldest known mention of which dates from 1956.
Paintings by Giovanni ZACCHEO, painter-decorator in Roanne, circa 1883. 17th century wooden statues.
