A first chapel was erected after the plague in Marseilles in 1633 to the west of the town near the village of Saint Roch, surrounded by a cemetery.
Poorly maintained, it eventually ran out at the start of the 18th century.

It was in 1869, following a donation of land to the town, that the current chapel was built by the architect M. Chatard, it is thanks to a subscription from the inhabitants and the help of the municipal council that was completed the chapel in 1872 and handed over to the cult of the parish.

Returned to a state of disrepair, the Saint Roch association in 1977, undertook the renovation of its building and its enclosure.
To date, the municipality ensures its maintenance. From this place we discover a panorama over the roofs of the town and the surrounding landscapes.

There is also a Madonna built in recognition of the 1820-1840 restoration period, located at a place called "La Roche" with the inscription (Etoile du Matin) called Massabielle de Renaison.
We went there on a pilgrimage for August 15, for a walk along a pleasant path, the edge of the river. The current owners, of this private place, Mrs. and Mr. Paul Perreve leave the passage free of access every August 15 afternoon, for a visit to the Madonna.
