The dams both supply the Roannais with drinking water.
Walks on the belvederes of the dams. Pleasure to discover the local heritage. In the shade of hundred-year-old trees, let's discover together the world of the mid-mountain forest on a walk. On site, you will find at your disposal: a discovery area, a restaurant, an amusement park, picnic tables, a drinking water point, public toilets.

Further information :
A forester from the National Forestry Office accompanies you to the site of the "La Tâche" and "Rouchain" dams in the heart of the Monts de la Madeleine on the outskirts of Roanne. An agent of the Roannaise de l'Eau shows you around the Maison de l'Eau. The Auberge du Barrage welcomes you for a "discovery" meal of local products.
