Originally from Belgium, Harry Gruyaert is recognized for his exceptional presentation of color photography and his bold use of light, capturing scenes of everyday life with proven visual poetry.
H. Gruyaert's work is the fruit of an insatiable curiosity and a great sense of observation. His travels around the world have allowed him to capture moments of daily life in places as diverse as Morocco, India, Ireland, the United States, Belgium and France.
By browsing his photographs, we discover an invitation to humanity and a skin-deep sensitivity. H. Gruyaert is capable of capturing fleeting snapshots, raw emotions and captivating atmospheres.
His images invite us to see the world with fresh eyes, beauty held even in the most ordinary situations.
Once again, the Phot'Objectif club is trying the difficult exercise of "in the manner of" with this exhibition paying tribute to Harry Gruyaert.
