Edge of the Aix and Tacot

Church Square.

Go up the lane on the left to the bakery and go up the village towards the viaduct.

Cross the viaduct and continue to climb along the left road.

150 m after going up, take the path on the right called “le chemin du tacot” (information panel). The Chemin du Tacot is today cut by the D86, cross and take the path again (it continues a few meters further on the left). Go down the valley to arrive on the D1.

Cross the "Aix" river via the Vernay bridge, continue the road to pass under the motorway bridge.

At the exit of the tunnel take a direct left and follow the road which runs alongside the motorway.

At the intersection at the end of the straight line, continue straight on the dirt road; He will guide you to the hamlet of Terge.

Arriving at the first houses of Terge, continue straight on to follow the small pond. At the intersection with a cross, turn left to join the D1.

Turn right onto the D1. At the second intersection on the right, opposite the water tower and the Chassagne cross, take Chemin de la Chassagne on the right. You can admire the village of Grézolles.

Arriving at the hamlet of Chassagne, turn right to take the path which will take you to the banks of the Aix. At the intersection with the path that leads to the Château d'Aix (on the left), turn right. Cross the hamlet “le Bray”. Pass again under the motorway bridge and over the Vernay bridge, then take the path up the valley.

At the intersection with the chemin du tacot taken earlier, turn right. then turn left to cross the D86 and reach the hamlet of Durelle.

Cross Durelle and go up to the hamlet of Bouzon. In Bouzon turn left to go back down to Juror; you will find your way back to the start, then take the viaduct on the right and go back down to the church.
