1 - Departure

Moulins church square.

2 - Step 1

Go up towards the cemetery, 300m after taking the dirt road on the right.

3 - Step 2

At "Blanchardon", cross the Isable on a small bridge. Cross the D41 to take the dirt road which goes up to Vieux Cherier. We admire the Romanesque church dating from the XNUMXth century for its oldest part.

4 - Step 3

At Vieux Cherier, go down to the right, skirt the cemetery, pass the voluntary drop-off points, and continue on the asphalt road.

5 - Step 4

30 m before the Roanne-Thiers stele, take the small path on the left to go up to the Chapelle de la Salette (three man passages). At the third passage of man, the chapel is on the left 50 m. Superb panorama allowing you to see the entire Roanne plain.

6 - Step 5

Go back down the track to Poyet, take the road, pass in front of the Place des 4 Tilleuls and continue straight on. Take the direction of the Croix "Trévingt", leave the path of the "Barrière" on the right, then further on take the dirt road of the "Pey de la Roue" on the right.

7 - Step 6

700 m further, we cross the path of “Maucet”, leave it and continue the dirt road via Les Ardillats.

8 - Step 7

At the "Croix Trévingt", take the direction of St Just en Chevalet, follow the road for 600m, turn left onto Chemin du "Besset" and immediately right onto the dirt road.

9 - Step 8

Ford the Isable near its source. Arrive at “Point du Jour” (stopover lodge on the farm), take the small climb up to “la Murette”.

10 - Step 9

Take the tarmac path which goes down towards the “Rivières”. At the next intersection, continue straight, then 100 m further turn right to "Bonnabaud".

11 - Step 10

Pass in front of the reservoir on the left, go towards the town of "Moulins" which you reach by the path overlooking the city stadium and reach the church square.
