A family circuit which approaches 10km, but does not present any difficulty. It offers beautiful views of the village and surrounding areas.

1 - Departure

Parking at the Festival Hall.

2 - Step 1

Head towards the stairs, at the end of the passage head opposite towards St Roch Chapel, turn right from the chapel down towards Chemin de Mons.

3 - Step 2

At the intersection with Chemin de Mons turn left towards D44. Keep the D44 for 200 m and take the dirt road towards Saignelonge. Cross the tarmac path and go down towards the wash house then take the path which climbs for around 400m.

4 - Step 3

Turn right at 3 large chestnut trees towards Le Branchet. Continue to the hamlet of Vernay on the left.

5 - Step 4

At the hamlet cross turn left between 2 houses then take the steep path on your right towards Chaboutet. In the valley take the path on the right towards Les Barges.

6 - Step 5

Continue the tarmac path on the left for approximately 100 m and turn right at the next crossroads. Off the circuit: before heading towards the hamlet of La Chapelle, take the time to admire the “turtle head” megalith, 1/4 hour round trip.

7 - Step 6

The path from the hamlet of La Chapelle will take you to the Croix du pommier. Before the cross, take the wide forest path on your right to reach La Pontadinière.

8 - Step 7

Continue on your right until you reach the D44. Cross it to take the grassy path opposite for approximately 200 m and turn right until you reach the tarmac municipal road. go straight on the path which runs alongside the house to head towards the village. Return to the village hall.
