This walk combines green nature and old stones. In Le Verdier, you will discover a hamlet which was the seat of an important feudal castle of which there remains a tower. In Presle, enjoy the magnificent view of the bridge and the lake.

1 - Departure

Church Square.

2 - Step 1

Take the D45 on your left for a few meters then the path on the right towards Forgeon. At the intersection turn right onto a small road, then at the cross, cross the D56 to get to the path that leads to Presle.

3 - Step 2

At the crossing in Presle, turn right on the small road. At the crossroads, turn left then immediately left on the path towards Cotterot. Cross the D56, take the path opposite below the banks of the Loire.

4 - Step 3

At the end of the woods, take the D56 on your left for a few meters. At the crossroads, turn left onto the path that leads to Chante-Perdrix. At the next crossing, turn right on the small road then right again to Sorbier. Continue straight to join the D56.

5 - Step 4

Take the D56 on your right until Le Verdier. To get to the peninsula of Mars: at Verdier continue on the D56 on your right to a place called Mars.

6 - Step 5

Turn left on the path and continue straight ahead until you reach Les Pensières. At the intersection, turn left and continue straight ahead until La Perrière.

7 - Step 6

At the intersection, continue straight on the small road that leads to the D45. Take it for a few meters on your left as far as the church, the starting point of the circuit.
