In the heart of a wild and preserved forest, the Croix Couverte cabins will make you reconnect with nature and relive all the emotions of your childhood.
Relaxation, calm, change of scenery, rejuvenation and romance will be the hallmarks of your stay in this unusual accommodation.
As a couple, with family or friends, our cabins offer you a real haven of peace.
The huts of the covered cross are ideally located and at the crossroads of three departments (Loire / Rhône / Saône et Loire).
At the heart of a natural environment of 2 ha including a meadow and wooded areas but also a range of activities.
Choose from 4 cabins with names evocative of Grimm's tales:
• The "elves" hut
• The hut "the golden key"
• The hut "du petit poucet"
• The hut "the time of a dream"
Equipment common to all cabins:
• Comfortable bedding, quality pillows and bed linen provided
• Drinking water point
•Dry toilets
• Fully automated individual heating: wood pellet stoves
Breakfast is included in the rental of your cabin.
Dinner. As an option, if you wish, it will be a unique experience: a meal in a cabin around a "grill" specially designed for this purpose! Friendliness is essential and the meal will be made from 100% local products and favoring those from organic farming. A meal "like in the old days" made with the best products from our region. An experience not to be missed!
Bathrooms
To offer you greater comfort, an outbuilding of our house has been fully fitted out. You will find 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers and sinks:
• 1 bathroom with 2 sinks and 2 Italian showers
• 1 bathroom with 1 sink and 1 Italian shower
Bathroom linen is provided (towels).
For those who are resistant to the concept of dry toilets, toilets with a classic flush are also available in this space.
Activities:
Norwegian bath: Optionally, enjoy a session in the Norwegian bath in the heart of the forest! Price: €20* per adult and per session (child free if accompanied by an adult).
Mini-Farm: Discover a mini-farm on site (goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.)
Various games for children.

Eager to review our priorities as well as "the essentials", this project was created naturally through contact with the beauty of the site and its preserved environment. The idea was to offer a relaxing, rejuvenating place conducive to reflection on the daily life of our sometimes hectic lives. We will celebrate our 10th anniversary of opening in 2024 and the initial philosophy of our project has never left us.
