Maison Magda is a country cottage located in Ambierle, on the Côte Roannaise. In a setting of vineyards, forests and medieval villages, Maison Magda is an inspired and inspiring place. Outdoor spaces such as the swimming pool, courtyard, garden and permaculture vegetable garden are shared with unique views of the nearby forest and the Roanne plain.

Maison Magda has 2 self-contained gîtes, each sleeping up to 3 people.
The interior ambiances reflect a rural, authentic and refined lifestyle. There are archi, design and vintage touches, with inspirations like Georgia O'Keeffe or Charlotte Perriand. Stone, lime, wood, reclaimed materials and custom or antique decoration create these unique atmospheres.

Gîte Georgia - The inspiring, charming and cozy cocoon
Ideal for 2 to 3 people, Georgia is pleasant in all seasons. Inspired by the world of artist Georgia O'Keefe, its atmosphere is authentic, warm, soft and inspiring. The Georgia cottage is equipped with a log stove.

Gîte Charlotte - The architect's cabin with character
Ideal for 2 to 3 people, Charlotte is designed like an architect's cabin. Inspired by the world of Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier's cabin, its atmosphere is warm, strong and inspiring. The Charlotte gîte is entirely focused on the view of the Monts de la Madeleine.

An interactive digital guide of around a hundred pages designed and illustrated by Claire, the creator of Maison Magda, is free and downloadable after reservation. A very complete collection of his favorites and “must-sees” during your stay: local essentials, gastronomy, heritage, useful addresses but also his favorite walks or bike rides departing from the gîtes. Ideal for anticipating your program or consulting on site to improvise, it will be the ally of your vacation in Côte Roannaise.

I am Claire Dolmaire, the creator of Maison Magda. Architect and photographer, I am passionate about creation, encounters as well as the heritage and landscapes of the Côte Roannaise. All this makes the singularity and personality of this authentic place, of this large, inspired and inspiring holiday home that is Maison Magda. Come stay in one of our two gîtes!

Sustainable tourism
Attentive to preserving resources and our environment, we carry out a reasoned renovation, using local, natural or recycled materials and furniture. Maison Magda also offers sustainable tourism: departures for walks or bike rides from the lodges in a setting of vineyards and forests, access to our permaculture vegetable garden and compost bin, shared unheated swimming pool.
