The city of Roanne has taken the challenge of highlighting all the richness and creativity of short format animated cinema.
The event has become a major event dedicated to the 7th animated art in short format at national and European level over the years and brings together more than 10 spectators each year curious to discover the latest gems of the genre. The festival targets an adult and adolescent audience (excluding young audience sessions).
Ciné court animated will offer you throughout the week the opportunity to discover the best of world animation with more than 220 short films from around forty countries and around 60 hours of screening.
Many recent award-winning films at major international festivals and ceremonies will be presented as well as the latest films from major European animation studios, film schools and independent animation leaders.
Exhibitions, shows, virtual reality room, film concerts and other meetings with national and international directors will be on the program in around ten places in the Roanne region.
