Coming from Latin, Reniteo literally means "to shine again", a beautiful poetic image to say "to be reborn". Because it is indeed a question of rebirth in all places of this beautiful project:
David Michelis founded the estate in 2021 following his professional retraining in the world of wine.
Falling in love with this rich terroir that he likes to tell and share, he took over the Cave Alain Baillon and the former Domaine du Pavillon to put down his suitcases.
The entire estate is now in conversion to organic farming and biodynamics.
David currently offers you to discover a range of red, white and rosé wines, made from the Gamay Saint Romain and Chardonnay grape varieties. Other grape varieties are being planted on the estate and you will soon be able to taste these new varieties from Syrah and Chenin, the emblematic grape varieties of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, where the winemaker has completed his apprenticeship, and of the Loire Valley, his vineyard. of heart.

For many years, wine in all its dimensions has fascinated me. Through various paths, I undertook to know its history, to grasp some bits of the immense culture that surrounds it, until I decided to make it my job and become a winemaker after a dedicated professional career. to the art world.
New 2024
In 2024, Domaine Reniteo opens its tasting cellar adjoining its new vat room. A beautiful space restored with old materials in a spirit of sobriety and respect for the original places.
Sustainable tourism
Our estate is in the process of being certified for Organic Agriculture, serving a quality vineyard which limits its impact on the soil, waterways and all the components of our ecosystem. In 2022, we won 1st Prize in the Vignerons et Terroirs d'Avenir Competition, a reward for in-depth work that recognizes our environmental ambition!
