St Martin la Sauveté is a village of less than 1000 inhabitants located at the crossroads of Roannais and Montbrisonnais, halfway between Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand and Saint-Etienne, this commune of Forez benefits from two accesses close to the motorway A89.

St Martin la Sauveté is a welcoming village which welcomes its visitors in a colorful setting where one can discover a magnificent countryside, perched on the last foothills of the Monts-du-Forez, through its many varied hiking trails and picturesque. The village extends over more than 2ha with an altitude varying from 800m to 408m. The town has 899 hamlets and 51 crosses.
The belvedere which dominates the village offers a superb point of view on the Alps and makes it possible to discover 40 bell towers.
