The trail will also make you discover the particular charm and freshness of the Goutte Poussette, an old valley flooded by the creation of the dam. Until 1975, a mineral water source, the “Victoire source” was exploited in this place called La Poussette. In 1880, a bathing establishment with three bathtubs in fir cabins was established and welcomed up to 15 bathers per year. From 1922, it was also famous for its tavern where people liked to taste the freshness of the Loire.
The town of Cordelle is also located on the heights of the town. Stroll through the village streets lined with beautiful stone houses, including the walls of the old convent along the main street, or the yellow stone church.
