Day 1

In the heart of the Pays d’Urfé

Start your stay in an idyllic setting atPlagnette pond, in the heart of the great green, where you can bask in the sun then share a meal by the water. Take the road again towards Champoly, for a hike to the Urfé castle, imposing medieval fortress and unmissable spot for its breathtaking view.

Day 2

On the Wine Route

After a night under the stars of Roannais, enjoy the spectacle of the sunrise on the meanders of the Loire,
au Donkey Fart in Dance. Join the Wine Route and its vineyards for a scooter ride through the vineyards.
Take the opportunity to have a picnic around a good Gamay Roannais. After a well-deserved nap, continue your journey in the Character Village of Ambierle to the famous priory.

Day 3

Between River and Mountain

Start the day by mountain bike with a sporty excursion on the marked trails of theMountain and Plain area in Roannais, to the impressive Renaison dams. Thrills guaranteed! Pass through the village for lunch, then return to the banks of the Loire for a descent canoeing in the gorges of the longest river in France.

Day 4

On the heights of Roannais

Total disconnection for this last day, an exotic escape on the glassware plateau, site
preserved natural environment with breathtaking views, in the middle of mountain moors. Finally, end this Roanne stay in style, with a visit to the Crozet, medieval village labeled “ Small Cities of Character », with its picturesque streets and imposing keep.
