Benedictine Priory of Ambierle, a Cluniac site located north of the Loire department, 18 km from Roanne.
The priory complex includes parts built in the 1753th century, turrets from the 1757th century. The main body for use by the monks was built between XNUMX and XNUMX. The church, in the Flamboyant Gothic style, houses period stained glass windows and an altarpiece, a masterpiece of Flemish art.
