Every year the European Night of Museums takes place, this year it returns for its 20the edition and will take place on Saturday May 18! That evening, many museums open their doors to you free of charge. They offer you a lot of activities: workshops, musical performances, guided tours, demonstrations... Without further ado, discover everything this night has to offer you!
Joseph Déchelette Museum, the whole story
Each year, Joseph Déchelette museum returns with a rich and diverse program. From 16 p.m. until midnight, the museum welcomes you and entertains you!
For those who like to dance, you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself to hip-hop with the Roanne company Vague 2 Flow (from 16 p.m. to 18 p.m.). If you prefer not to reveal your dance skills right away, you can attend the company's demonstrations!
Show your hidden talents by participating in artistic practice workshops. You can even do it as a family, these workshops are intended for children and adults (from 16 p.m. to 19 p.m.).
But then, the museum in all this? Of course, we don't forget the culture buffs... You can take part in flash guided tours of the museum! (from 16 p.m. to 21 p.m.).
At the end of the day and until midnight, La Filoutrie will take over the museum courtyard and, for sure, will take you to the track in an electro atmosphere! In the background, you will enjoy a nice interactive mapping which will take shape on the walls of the museum…

Musée du Petit Louvre, the new thing
This year, La Pacaudière is offering the 1e edition of the Nocturnes du Little Louvre, on the theme “Music, heritage and Côte Roannaise”.
From 20 p.m. to 23 p.m., you will discover the magic of the Petit Louvre. Enjoy a free stroll in a musical atmosphere with the Copains d'Accord saxophone quartet. For wine lovers, Victor Lehuger, young winemaker, will offer a tasting. Namely, Victor has been re-establishing the vines on the Tafret hillside in Crozet for several months. An evening with taste!
Alice Taverne Museum, the traditional
Au Alice Taverne Museum in Ambierle, you will be able to discover the permanent route free of charge: more than 100 m² of visit testifying to the life of our countryside. Also discover the temporary exhibition From Thread to Beads, where feminine work is presented such as mending, to aesthetic feats...
