There are about thirty of them, all independent winegrowers, to share the chiseled hillsides of the Côte Roannaise. About thirty cellars open to receive you. About sixty hands who shape the vines so that they give the best of the terroir. By jealously maintaining this coast, they give it that dear soul that makes Gamay speak.

If you want to know more about their tasty nectars, do not hesitate to visit the winegrowers who will be able to welcome you. About twenty estates open their doors throughout the year to let you discover their vintages. Red, rosé, white or sparkling wine, there is something for everyone!

Winegrower or winegrower?

Why say winegrower and not winegrower? Do you know what makes the two different? The winegrower works in the vines. He takes care of the planting, growth and well-being of the vine.

The winemaker is involved in the entire wine making process. He takes care of both the maintenance of the vines and the bottling and also manages the resale of his vintages. He must therefore ensure the marketing (negotiation with suppliers) and promotion of his estate and its wines.

The winegrowers of the Roannaise coast are true artisans of wine.
