Discover the Roanne region from the sky by paramotor! During this first flight in a two-seater aircraft, you enjoy an exclusive flight with the pilot. At altitude, you can admire the mountain ranges, castles, churches and the Loire River.

Roanne and the Loire at altitude
Between green plains and mountain ranges, our Roanne region, crossed by the Loire, offers very varied landscapes which are revealed in a new light from the sky.
To discover this spectacle, take a first flight on a paramotor!
In this motorized paraglider mounted on a cart, you will be in the open air to appreciate the beauty of the panorama of this part of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Your pilot will take you to enjoy your flight!

Flight program:
- The pilot is waiting for you on the base to start the activity. He briefs you on the safety measures, shows you how the flight will take place and shows you how the paramotor works.
- Equipped with the headset and the radio, you can sit as a passenger in the aircraft, the pilot prepares for takeoff.
- Once in the sky, you can observe Roanne, the Loire and its surroundings with lakes, mountains and monuments.
- At the end of the circuit, the pilot calmly begins the descent to land on the runway. A photo and sensations debriefing will be carried out, and a drink will be offered to you by the pilot.

Places flown over:
20 minutes*: Around St-Léger-sur-Roanne
30 minutes*: In addition to the sites above: the dams of Villerest, Renaison (depending on weather conditions) and the foothills of the Monts de la Madeleine or go to Mably, Pouilly-sur-Charlieu, Noailly.
45-60 minutes*: Roanne region, Lake Villerest, Renaison dams, Loire Gorges, Château de la Roche, Côte Roannaise.

The paramotor:
The paramotor is a small motorized aircraft with its open cockpit. Equipped with a sail of 28 m², 38 m² or 41 m² (depending on passenger weight), a Rotax 503 ULM engine and two seats (two-seater) one behind the other, it can fly at between 25 and 65 km/h on average. This means of transport is ideal for discovering the beauty of the Loire landscapes!

Minimum age 6 years + parental authorization to be provided for minors.
Minimum size: 1.20 m maximum 2 m15
Maximum passenger weight: 125kg
Come with a casual seasonal outfit. Helmet and radio supplied with cap, suit.
Accompanying people are welcome on the site (table and bench at your disposal, under the responsibility of the pilot).
Not suitable for pregnant women and people with heart problems.
Possibility for people with reduced mobility (under conditions).
Allow between 1 hour and 2 hours of activity in total following service.

Schedules are set based on the weather and everyone’s availability. You have the possibility to indicate your preference when making an appointment. You will then receive all the details concerning your reservation (address, contact and practical information).
