La Forez-Roannais Wine Route in Loire Volcanique is located in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the Loire department, between the mounts of the Madeleine, the Forez mountains and the Loire river.
Taken in isolation, the appellation Roannaise coast brings together the municipalities located at the two North/South ends of the
area and displays a distance of 36 km, over around ten kilometers from East to West.
